In 2018, Magic Mile Media CEO BJ Murphy started Neuse News, a hyper-local digital news platform serving the greater Kinston, NC community. Our company utilized the infrastructure created by Magic Mile Media (social, web, newsletter and more) to grow the news property’s audience. In less than two years the daily newsletter grew to over 5,000 subscribers and the website sees over 150,000 unique visitors each month.

In 2020, Magic Mile Media purchased NCPoliticalNews.com from Brunswick County businessman Frank Williams.

Magic Mile Media's local news platform currently covers Lenoir, Jones, and Greene Counties.
